Ok went for a drive. We been up for awhile putting the car back together.

We are having difficult time getting into boost. When get to "0" and that's it. The car pulls as if it were pre-supercharger. We think the BOV is letting out all the boost. It doesn't make the "pshhhh" sound it's doing like "do-do-do-do".

Make sure the spring is in the BOV. Make sure you getting good manifold pressure from the line you tapped into. Also make sure If you have a "T" that it's secure also. Sound like a vacuum line issue. It happened once to me on my turbo kit when I was play around with things. And it was my manifold pressure line.

Post a picture of where y'all tapped in at. Because the best pressure comes from the line right as its coming out the manifold. And all 3 lines leading out of the manifold to the factory "T" that then goes into the booster pump and back of the manifold all have check valves In them. So pressure only flows one way.

V6owner I dont know if this will help but I am tapped into the vacuum right off of the manifold before the factory tees.

That's exactly what his issue is. He isn't getting manifold pressure at all. V6owner tap in like this photo. This will get you boosting instantly!

I hope that is his issue,i didnt know there was check valves in the factory tees, but from his pics and video it looked like he was tapped into the other side of the factory tees. And congrats looks like you and your installer did an awesome job, looks and sounds great.Good luck hope you can get into the boost soon.

Make sure to cut exactly where smoke has shown above and not further down the line or you may end up like me and accidentally cut the line right where the plastic check valve is located!

Good point PT.You can feel where it is in the line,I would try to stay as close to the manifold as you can to get your tee in.

I just spoke to V6owner on the phone and he will report back when they relocate the line. Like I said I did the same thing before when I was switch out vacuum hoses to get my hoses closer to the bottom of the engine bay. But had to just put it back up top!

This is how Tracy tapped mine. And when I redid the hose I used a proxy to secure it air tight.

Thanks guys for the help! If there's a check valve in the factory tee then thats the problem. The boost gauge was all over the place between -20 and 0 and showed a different reading every time we floored it so I figured the vacuum signal wasn't good. We're gonna relocate it and make sure the blow-off valve gets a good vacuum/pressure signal and also make sure there's a spring in it lol. Hopefully tonight we'll have some better results!

Looking forward to some tire smoke haha
