No more mods on my ride for awhile.Just had to put out $7000.00 for a new heating and ac unit.I have no AC until Monday.
Indeed, ours went out last Monday and they couldn't replace it until Thursday. We have a smaller house so it was $3000.

But that was my headers and stereo upgrade money.

I wanted to make the Mt Lemmon ride but I had to work. But I will be there for the AllGens Mt Lemmon trip next month so hope to see some of you there.

By the way Bodih, your next post is post #1000!

I do need to use the front spacers that come with the car, otherwise I can't make it up the ramps with out rubbing the front spoiler.

This thing tows like a dream, it's very balanced and I hardly notice it behind the truck. I can't wait to show you guys at a car show soon.

The car is nice, but I am originally from Calif.and I like the picture of the grass lawn in the front yard.I miss my lawn.

That's the park infront of my house. I had to put sod down in my back yard to have grass. It sure does make me feel good to have grass and something to play on with the kids when ever I want.

May I ask where you got 'em & for what price? I've only seen them on the Phastek website for $400.

thanks!

I got them from Apex for $412.64 which included shipping. It took a couple months for them to ship (they don't bill til they ship). I think if you got through Technostalgia directly - you will get them faster and they charge the exact same price.
Well, I was in disguise. I drive my wife's Z3 a couple days a week if I'm good.

Did the same thing, love playing with the kid and the dogs out there. Although the BOBsod has seen enter days. My brother just put down Some Tiffway hybrid an I'm jealous. Seems to self-repair better and require less water.

I am out here in WV right now and could not help myself. I went to a chevy dealer here in town and they had a black ZL1 that i was looking at. The sales man came up and started talking to me about it and i was telling him about my SS and he was like you want to take it for a test drive. I had to say HELL YES! This is car was amazing, wish i had the money to spend 60k on it but i can dream

We must live parallel lives... First you wanted to do suspension mods and then the AC craps out. Ours died today. Car suspension got done at least, but I was working on the Jeep with River Raider skid plates. Royal PITA, but they are rugged. Luckily its cooler in SV for now. This sucks and I hope yours gets done soon. If it gets too stupid hot, I am migrating to the camper.

This is one you'll want to attend. I can't think of a better weekend cruise in the state for the driving experience, scenery and cool temps. Tell the boss now you'll be sick that weekend, you've got a trip to take! Besides, Glen needs somebody to race...

Robert from AZALLGENS is taking a head count of folks that will join the group for dinner at Sir Veza's after the 11 Aug cruise up Mt Lemmon. He's working with them to get reserved parking for everyone. You can sign up at their site below, or probably PM him here on Camaro5.com. He should still get the noification. Let him know as early as possible so he can stay ahead of the game.

His username on both sites is Robertgss3

A coworker of mine just went on a tour of Hot Rods and said that the grand opening is July 11th. They are going to have 5 car clubs there. I haven't heard anything so I am assuming we are not one of those clubs. Does anyone have any more info or plan on going next week? We should definitely have one of our meetings there some time.

Sorry we weren't able to make the Mt. Lemmon run, we've been really busy lately and something came up. Hopefully we will make the run next month.

Bob and I have tried many times to contact them with no response. I too went on a walk through of the place, it's a Pepsi account I will continue to try to see what I can do, we should plan on a get together there for sure.

This month's meeting will be at Culver's on Thornydale, more information to come.

Useful tools

Seen a few folks talking about Sub Woofer installs. The trim removal tool is really handy for getting those PITA plastic plugs out of the trunk liner. The other tool is really handy for disconnecting gas lines. Not like you need to remove gas lines often, but I wanted to check my valves springs since its recommended with my cam after "racing" events. Found both at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Free to a good home

I know this isn't really the right place, but I have 2012 Jeep Rubicon Wrangler Bumpers free to a good home. Should fit any Jeep JK, but I'm no Jeep parts expert. The are up for sale on Craigslist, but are free to anybody on Camaro5 that can pick them up. Need to get some clutter out of my garage. Pulled them off since I installed new Warn bumpers and a winch. Still in real good shape with around 5K miles on them.
