Texas speed, LG, Vengeance, or Lethal?

Thanks

Depends on whos dyno, whos tuning it and what the supporting mods are.
Top 3 problems you run into on doing this thread.

LOL! There is no "most power" brand....its all in the grind/profile/and supporting mods as well as mentioned above, who's dyno and the tuner.

All those you asked about are great and you wont be disapointed.

Remember, there are infinate cam grinds/profiles.

All of them will do a custom grind. So semi moot.

Falundir is correct most of us will do a custom grind.

I think the most important thing when thinking about a cam upgrade is not only to think about power but think about how you are going to drive and use the car.

Who cares if it makes record dyno numbers, but it is to aggressive that you never want to drive it, and it just sits in the garage?

We do make some very smooth, and very aggressive cams as well. Generally I will have something on the shelf that will meet almost everyone's needs. If not we can most certainly grind one to do so.

If you have questions about what might be right for you, we are always here to help!

All of the Companies you mentioned have excellent cams. We can all design a cam for you too. Although people love numbers you must remember the dyno is just a tuning tool. The real story of any cam is how it well it drives, how much torque it delivers, while giving the most power it can. The cam that makes the biggest number on the dyno is not always the cam that wins the race. I can put together a cam that will make huge numbers, but the valve events are all screwed up and the cam doesn't go anywhere at the track or on the street. Camshaft valve events are everything when it comes to performance!!!

My advice is to do a good bit of research and talk to all the companies.

I have Lethals Night Fury cam and had it dynod today. It put down 457whp/417wtq UNCORRECTED. His humidity probe doesnt work right, so he doesnt use any of it. In reality, Im probably closer to 485-490. Car runs incredible. The only time it surges is when I drive in my neighborhood. I can do 65mph in 6th and you would never know it was cammed.

It shouldn't surge at all with a proper tune.

I got one of the best in TX to do it. Cams will surge. Its not neck breaking, but I can feel it.

Im happy with it! Sounds awesome! When my tuner took the car for a ride to check the streetability of the tune, he pulled up to the light that was about 1000ft from the shop, and I could hear it loping clear as day! Extremely satisfied customer.

Which fruit tastes the best?

Apples, Oranges, or Strawberries?

Every cam is different, and every cam targets power in different ranges. There is no "best" cam. You have to decide what your goals are. Do you want a bragging rights, high-HP and high-RPM cam? Do you want a smooth and constant power band? Driveability? low RPM performance?

Decide what factors you want, then re-ask the question.

Best to call the companies you've already mentioned and JRE as well. Just talk through what you're looking for with them and they will all make recommendations right for YOUR needs.
