So I'm pretty excited order some pedals that are now discountinued. I got these in red because I heard they match the IOM interior better than the orange, plus only red and blue were left. Can't wait to get them and see how they look.

Also in other news mailed out my proted throttle body to get that painted so I can not wait. Def got some excited mods to add to my car

Today I installed my red foot pedals. I started with the brake. I took off the rubber and started drilling through the metal. I was able to drill the first two holes and then the battery on my drill started to die so I was only able to do a little of the bottom hole. So I stopped and let the battery charge and a half hour later I finished drilling and attached all the pedals. It was very simple to do the only trouble I had the was battery on my drill but can't complain. Now I went with red for two reasons. The first since these pedals are now discontinued I had only a choice between red and blue the second I figured the red would prob match the IOM interior a little better than the bright orange ones.* So here are some pics. I also was going to finally do my LED cupholder but decided once again to put it off for another day. And my painted ported throttle body should be here anyday, can't wait to get that on.

*Been thinking of removing them and getting them powder coated orange, they seem to be a little too red for my taste*

So I just called the only place around me to get my car dynoed and for 3 pulls they wanted $150 and that seems absolutly crazy to me. I was expecting it to be much lower. So I guess it looks like I will never be able to get my car dynod :(

So for awhile I have been thinking of cleaning up or spicing up my engine bay some. I thought about getting braided hoses for my catch can but have had a hard time finding some. Yesterday someone posted a thread about how they used electrical tape to cover the black hoses for their catch can (menendez1293) and that gave me an idea. I was fortunate enough to have SS4PK pay it forward a roll of red oxide self fusing silicone tape. So i used that to wrap the hoses for my catch can for now until I can find some black braided hoses.

Well finally got around to changing out my DRL for LEDs. It took me so long because I had to jack up the car and take off my front driver side wheel since my APEX washer bottle attached to my scoop was in the way. The only trouble I seemed to have was getting in the passenger side LED. One of the prongs was bent a little and it was hard to get it but I eventually got it and everything works good. It is amazing how much of a difference these make to the look of the car. I like them a lot, I just need to get the DRL harness now to keep them on when my headlights come on. Here are some pics.

Also here is a little teaser pic of one of my up-coming mods will be.

This mod turned out to be a huge disaster haha, I blow at painting things.

Also I took out my spare, jack-stand and all those goodies. I managed to drop 47.1lbs. So far I have roughly lost about 77lbs. on the car. Assuming the weight on my title included the spare and such my car right now weighs about 3672lbs. With the factory crank hp that puts my W/P ratio at 11.77. Going off stock rwhp that puts my W/P at 15.3 based off the 240rwhp average of everyone else. I would love to actually get my car dynod to find out my current rwhp but I don't feel like paying $150 for 3 runs. But after removing the spare and such my car def seems to be quicker. I have also been thinking about removing the rear seat too just for when I go to the track but idk how much of a hassle it would be to take off and put back in since my camaro is my DD. Any thoughts on that are appreciated.

So finally went to the track to do some 1/4mile runs. I didn't know what to expect since I have never done anything like that before but it was a lot of fun. I managed to get in 5 runs before I had to leave to go to work. My fastest time was 14.7151@96.33. That was my slowest reaction time of the day and I thought i would be able to get atleast 14.5 but my last two runs I had no such luck got 14.7999@95.74 and then 14.7902@96.37. Taking D.A into account my fastest run is 14.373@98.677. But man that was really fun. Going into it i was pretty scared I thought I would be THAT guy that messes up there car and stops everyone else, luckily I wasn't. Also I def need new rear tires now, they were pretty worn out before today. Also I am car 5L.

I used this calculator: http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-...calculator.php

Finally my painted CNC ported throttle body came back. Took like 4 weeks but it looks really good, can't wait to install it tomorrow and see how much of a difference it makes. Also got some other goodies today. Got some IOM spray paint and IOM vinyl CAMARO windshield decal. The next couple of days are gonna be fun! I also plan on finally installing my LEDs for my cupholder. So stayed tuned for a couple of nice mods comming.

Nice mods, how did you get your painted stuff, like your fuse box, 4gauge pack, and engine cover to look so shiny and smooth?

Mine is dull and textured :(

Also, how did you manage to keep the raised images on the fuse box?

I cleared everything with a couple coats of clear. As far as the raised part I painted it with flat black enamel paint I didn't sand it just left it the way it was before I painted it. I would suggest painting your fuze box cover and then using a black sharpie to go over the raised part it will be much much easier.

Well I attempted to install my IOM painted tb. The actuall install went fine but when I started my car that was where all the problems happened. I quadrouple checked everything to make sure everything i disconnected was reconnected. When i started my car it had a little hard time starting and when it did it sputtered at first and the violently shook. I did so many different things to try and fix it but nothing seemed to have worked. A full in detail of what went wrong and stuff can be found here.

I must say Rx did an awesome job painting it it looked awesome! I waited a long time to finally get it lol it just sucks things went the way they did. Thanks to Rx amazing customer service they said I would be able to exchange it for another painted one. So i quickly mailed it out and I am really eager to get another and put it on. Here are some pics of it and how it looked installed on my car. I do plan on switching out the stock bolts for black ones at some point.

Thanks I wish I didn't have so much trouble with the thottle body install so I could actually have it as opposed to having to send it out again and getting a new one.

Well got an e-mail today fromt he place I ordered my new wheels and tires and apparently they couldn't finalize my order because they didn't have the Nurburgrings in stock. I have to wait until Monday for when they call TSW to see what is going to happen. I really hope I can get them because it was a really nice deal. Anyways got bored and went to the TSW website and put the wheels on my car and here is a pic of how it will look.

Thanks! Patience is a virtue which I must say I don't really have haha. Looks like I'll have to do other mods to keep me busy until then lol.
