Whats the longest you have waited?????

What is the longest that you have waited to receive a part for your car after you paid for it? Just curious.......

I waited about 2 months once I made the decision to send the car to livernois to be awesome-ized. Took a while to get scheduled, gather parts then for them to pick it up and bring it back. The wait was excruciating, but oh so worth it!!!!!!!!

Paid for or ordered? I waited about 6 months for some turbo parts I bought for a different car...then showed up at the front door of the guy that owned that company on a sunday morning 3 states away with a police officer...boy was he surprised.

I ordered valve covers from Katech in April of 2011, and finally received them either 4 or 5 months later...but they didn't charge me until they shipped, so it wasn't the end of the world.

So you waited 2 months to get all of the parts and for them to get installed?

Thats a little drastic, not out of the question I guess, but drastic.

There's a lot more to the story...but it was like 6 years ago and I don't want to remember it lol. PM me if you're really curious and I'll tell you who it was.

From the time I said, "Ok, let's do it" and I got it back was about 2 months I guess, or close to it.

I had to send them a check so that was a few days, then they ordered parts, and scheduled a time to do the work (they're a busy shop) then come pick up the car, do the work, and bring it back to me. Totally worth it! The way I was acting for those 6 or 7 weeks you'd think I had waited a year! LOL

When he saw you and a cop standing on his porch, I bet his a-hole puckered so hard it sounded like a BOV at 50psi.
