2013 Build your own?

Thinking of trading in my 2011 on a 2013 but can't find the Chev build your own site for 2013 so that I can see what options there are, et. al.

Fogey, untill Chevy updates their website....there won't be an authorized "you build it" part of their website. you may get the information elsewere.....but a true you buld it through GM will take a while to materialize.

dealerships can do this for you. Or if you do not wish to call one, RodgersChevrolet.com has a car builder for the 2013 models.

GM websites are cumbersome at best. While the Camaro 2013 isn't up and running, the 2013 Corvette 60th anniversary website is up and current.

On the top model, they have a supercharged 6.2L V8 like the Camaro, but somehow manages to squeeze out more horsepower than the ZL1, not sure how.

I do like the 427 version of the Vette, very cool engine, some call it the 7.0 but it is the 427. It produces 505hp.

The Corvette ZR1 uses a different supercharged engine than what is used in the Camaro.

They are both 6.2L V8 though.

Corvette: LS9 @ 638 HP, 604 lb.-ft. of torque
Camaro: LSA @ 580-horsepower, 556 lb.-ft. of torque
