The Batmobile
This is the starting thread for what my neighbors call The Batmobile, a 2012 Camaro 2SS/RS. I got her 7/11/12 at Jim Ellis Chevy in Atlanta, GA. Completely stock two days after. My current mod wish list for the time being.
- Interior LED color change - K&N Typhoon CAI - Borla S Catback - Eibach Pro Springs with sway bars - Diablo Sport Trinity Hopefully I can get these done in the next month and it'll all start coming together. Any recommendations for anything I should look into doing are welcome. I actually would love them. Thanks! I hope y'all can be patient with a newbie around here ![]() ![]()

Nice car! I love black on musclecars but I have sworn never to own another black car as they are impossible to keep clean unless you don't drive them or you detail them every day. Enjoy!

Finally started working on the car. Recently got my blue leds put in the interior.
Sorry for the bad pictures. my iphone wasnt being very cooperative. It looks amazing though. I really love it at night. It has good visibility compared to the stock light. Gets some odd looks when I hit unlock and the interior lights come on. ![]() ![]() Also got my CAI on. I decided not to go with the K&N and try out the Spectre kit just because of the price difference. It was an easy install. I was missing the stainless steel hose but a rubber one was packed in along with a note saying to email sales and they will send me a steel hose when they come in. Very nice and convenient. I had some trouble with the heat shield fitting but after some unbolting and shifting I got it to fit perfectly. Went and drove it around. It sounded great but couldnt test it that well because it was storming pretty bad. But I like the look. I am going to insulate the metal tubing when I have some more time. The tune is going on tomorrow. I am also pondering a muffler delete. I am going to talk to some people about that tomorrow as well. I think that would be a cheap fix to make it sound a bit better. I listened to some clips and watched videos on it today and I am liking the sound. But I am going to see what my local shop says. Anyway, I am going to keep it small for now. Saving up my big bucks for my build I am looking into. ![]()

Just contacted my local shop. They are getting one from a local shop and I am getting it on there soon!
Thanks! I know the trouble of black cars. I had my black 08 Jeep SRT until recently and that thing was horrible to keep clean. But I loved it when it was clean. Nothing like a black car. |

What shop are you going to? I love the muffler delete myself. I had magna flows at one time and took that kit off for the muffler delete when I first heard it. I also have some long tube hears laying around somewhere when your ready.

Looking into maybe a NOS system. I know this is a cheaper option and it has a pretty good price-power ratio. Which is what i always like
![]() I've done some searching on this and havent found an abundance of information. Does anyone here have any advice or things to look for or experience with NOS? Thanks a bunch. |
