Or you can use RacingBrake's pads; I'm using their ET500 pads which are a half-street, half-track pad and they work like glue. The stopping power of these pads on their rotors is just amazing.

I wonder how much rwhp do you think these would add over that stock rotors due to the weight savings?
Is there a down side to these (other than cost)? I mean do they warp more easily than the stock rotors and do they last as long? |

A greater advantage would be seen in a road racing or auto-crossing application. Lower unsprung mass means the tires stay planted better, and less rotating mass means it takes less energy to accelerate (in a positive or negative direction). As for a side by side comparison to stock rotors, I can't really say which lasts longer. A lot of that is due to how the brakes would be used, i.e. normal wear and tear, road racing, etc. Another variable would include what pad is being used with which rotor. The increased ability to dissipate heat/gases would definitely give the slotted rotor an advantage against warping.

It is funny how most of the stuff I want most tends to be the most expensive stuff.

No. We have had a few people ask about that but RacingBrake does not have any plans to develop them at this time.

Bolt on street cars are definitely not the target audience for these rotors. But if you have a serious high HP build or your car does regular track time then they are the best.

WS580: PM sent.
SUKXOST: These are way more rotor than what most people need. If you do a lot of track time, then they are the best thing out there are worth every penny. But for the average street driven bolt on car it is over kill. You can get a good street upgrade for a fraction of the price of these.
