Where have you seen a cobalt beat an SS? Both being stock of course. Last I checked the cobalt ran low 14s? The SS is easily a mid to low 13s car stock.

I had a 2003 EVO VIII that I got when they were released. I had some minor bolt-ons and that thing would launch hard and paste you in your seat. That V6 Camaro would get ripped up by this IX.

It's the awful wheel/tire fitment and form over function drop. It's an epidemic in the evo/sti community. I wish people with the form over function mindset would move back to hondas and vw's.

Yeah, but in fairness I did not say whether or not "most" Evo 9's will win? I said "off the lot" it's a tie...I would go as far as saying SS has the edge, since there have been more SS that have recorded 12's while stock in the quarter mile. I don't think there have been a handful (if any) Evo 9's to hit the 12's stock. You are being biased in many of your statements and I really don't understand why since you own an SS

You did write that EVO's are cheaper to add power, so that is why there are more of them on the road hitting 10's these days...I could buy a new or used SS for $5-$10k less than a new or used Evo of the same year, and add an SC or TT to it and take out a large population of Evo's from a roll or on DR's. We could go back and forth with this all day, the point was what they are when stock, not stock SS vs modified Evo
