1LE inspired Hood/Hash
I really loved the 1LE hood, so I decided to get it done on my car. I get that some people may bash me or whatever, keep it to yourself. Anyways only problem is I think that the hash is an orange red. I just ordered flat black hash stripes

Got rid of the orangish looking hash stripes and put on these carbon fiber ones

Looks great!!
Did you wrap the hood yourself? Also, how did cut the notch out in the wrap for the hash marks. Looks perfect. I kind of wish GM kept the hash marks on the 2013 1LE's. Last edited by 1LEE; 07-16-2012 at 09:31 AM. |

That really looks nice! I think a matte black hood needs to be on a Camaro painted a darker color. Maybe that's why not many people seem to like the one on the 1LE. I have a IOM "SS"......and I've wondered what a matte orange hood would look like

I supplied the vinyl which ran me about $80 online..... I'm not sure how he cut it out, I just showed him a picture of the 1LE and he got it done! I was actually doing a matte black hash stripe but the guy cut it too much and it wouldnt fit. He went in his house to find matte black vinyl but he didnt have any. Came out with carbon fiber and i think it looks even better. Glad he cut the matte black too short!

Looks Good & no one should bash you as the 1le was not the originator of this design. Plenty of other cars were posted before 1 single picture of the 1le was shown, We all inspire each other to want to make our cars better and there is no shame in that game
