Birthday present from my Dad arrived today. ATI composite stock for my Mosin M44 type 53 (numbers matching original Chinese issued rifle from the Korean war).

Don't have a picture of it but here's what the stock looks like:

I probably won't be adding a bipod or a scope like the rifle in the picture though.

Here's a little something for you folks... Do you have a good holster but you'd like it to be even better? Hang it on a better foundation.

If you're using an off the shelf leather belt, you'll be amazed how much difference a GOOD belt makes.

I switched to a 511Tactical Trainer belt... Holds a full size 1911 with no sag.
http://www.511tactical.com/All-Produ...-34-Wide.html?

The Wilderness Tactical 5 stitch is also an excellent belt.

I use the Cabela's Double Duty belt. They are amazing and I can carry any gun with no issue. Best thing is in Leather you can wear them with slack IWB with a Glock or 1911 just fine. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabel...h-All+Products

Looks like a good thick belt. I've used leather for forever, after using the nylon, I doubt I'll ever go back. Stiff like the double leather, but thin as single.

If you see one, give it a try... let me know what you think

Nice pistol for a military collection... looks like it's seen some action but was well taken care of.

That looks a lot like the JP Sauer & Sohn 38H my grandfather took off a captured German in WWII.

Co-worker asked me to find him a magazine for it. I looked everywhere for one and the ones I found were expensive and he asked if I wanted the gun.

His GF kicked him out and he needed money. I bought it last Monday and found 2 magazines on ebay for it already , lol.

I have a nylon and it is great with shorts or jeans, but now when I am going to work in a suit. That is why I have the double leather.

Luckily it has not been that hot this summer. Part of that might be the 75 pounds I have lost and part of it is we are not in a drought like last year. It is averaging 98 right now.

I am in summer carry mode. Usually a Ruger LCP in front pocket and sometimes a NAA .22 Magnum WASP in a pocket holster. The NAA is quickly becoming my favorite very hot weather gun.

Won't hurt like a .45 if you miss, but it'll kill ya dead just like a cannon if you hit

Looks like a fun lil' shooter

Funny story. My son and I were at an indoor range. We had our Smith and Wesson 460 XVR and this little gun. She shot the 460 round and all of the guys with their .45 and .40 stopped shooting and you can see them look around to see what was just shot. It was amazingly loud.

My son puts the 460 down and picks this little NAA 22 up, backs out of the lane and says "Damn that was loud!" Then goes back into the lane and shoots the 460 again. the look on all of the guys with their XD's was priceless.

Nice Find!

That's the Hungarian version of the Russian Makarov, BTW.
I don't know if Mags would be interchangable, but it was
made in several variations by Warsaw Pact countries back in the day.
You could try Czech, E. German, Russian versions for mag compatibility
