The 2003-2004 Mach 1's are in close comparison with LS1's
but,the LSX engine has the edge on the 4V modular motor.
Not only does the LS1 trap alittle higher but, the LS1 has more
potential to make alot more power since the LS1 has more
cubic inches.
Don't the 1998-2002 LS1 Camaro's come with a aluminum driveshaft from the factory right and do the u joints on these cars hold up well?
How do you like the quality of the BMR control arms?
I wonder how the BMR control arms compare to the UMI control arms.

A suggestion to go along with the LCA's -- get the relocation brackets and put the LCA in the lower bolt hole. It makes a significant difference in helping with hop and traction.

As for BMR vs. UMI vs. anyone -- It's steel tubing with poly bushings and two welds. I suggest UMI, but one can't go wrong with any brand for such a simple modification.

it does have an aluminium driveshaft and the u joints look fine, but saw a bunch of u joint failure the last time i was at the track so i figured better safe than sorry. lol. i'm sure the bmr and umi are very similar, i don't think you can go wrong with either

Funny you should say that. I've always had a soft spot for the 01 Bullit (the s197 version does nothing for me) and often thought about building one. Has to be dark highland green though

Ok, had a few spare moments to fart around with the car tonight. Got the n20 gauge, purge, arming, and window switch in. Slowly but surely.

Man i am loving this build! I wish i had another 4th gen just for track use. Did you leave any of the speakers in the doors or rear? Just an idea for a few more pounds.

No speakers left at all. Whats left that I'm still considering are the air bags, door beams, and rear crash bar. I think that's about all the "free" stuff left. Leaving the center consol, door and rear panels etc so it doesn't look like its a gutted car. Thanks for the compliments guys

Well, finished the nitrous this weekend. MSD digital window switch and ZEX WOT controller mounted in the glove box. Bottle heater is controlled from the rear defroster switch ( little trick crap like that makes me smile). Need to get my bottle filled and maybe I can give it a proper test on thursday T&T

Got everything buttoned up tonight and took a quick spin to test the spray. Everything seems in order. Wideband just got delivered today. Need to get it to the exhaust shop and get the bung welded in

Not knocking it, but I haven't seen to many people mount the noids there, cause normally most people mount their line lock there. It looks like you had to use a bit more hose than if you would have mounted them on the fuel rails. Looks good though

I really wanted my noids mounted there, but I wish I could have used the 2' lines. I actually had the 2' lines on there at first, and it fit, but there were quite tight. The extensions did soften the hit a bit. Might have to do something different at some point

Can't win. Weather report is absolute crap for tomorrow, so no racing AGAIN. Well it goes in tuesday to have cats removed and bung welded in for wideband. I'll just keep working on it till the track opens again!
