Kids in the front.

Anyone know at what age, weight, height it's safe for a child to
ride in the Camaros front passenger seat with the airbag ?

Most recommendations are 12+ years of age.

I've always been told that there isn't an actual age limit but that the child has to be big enough for the shoulder strap to fit as designed. If the strap comes across the neck or the strap has to be put behind the child for the child to sit upfront comfortably, then the child is too young and has to sit in the back.

Your air bag wii NOT deploy if the weight of the child is not enough. Look above your mirror after they get in the seat, it will show if the airbag is activated or not. I'm not at home otherwise I would show you a pic. It is explained in your owners manual.

Recommendations vary, but its usally a minimum height and weight. You want to make sure the shoulder belt fits correctly. If, on an impact, the child isn't restrained properly by the shoulder belt he can slip out of it and be killed by the impact of the air bag. You don't want that. You also don't want the belt choking him on impact.
