Trading wheels

I have a chance at getting a ZL1 with everything I want except for the bright aluminum finish wheels. I want the black wheels. Do you think dealers would trade just the wheels? (thinking not) Is there anyone out there that would consider trading their black wheels for the bright finish?

I believe the black finished wheels are an option....So probably no luck in getting them traded out from the dealer or someone else.

Black is standard.
The bright finish is a +/-500 dollar touch.
I would trade straight across plus pay expenses.

I don't know if you've seen them yet but the polished wheels look much better in person. I like mine but I'm thinking about having them powder coated black.

I am just going to trade them out later, then have both black and silver.

Personally, I would get the optional bright aluminum wheels and like Taser Deployed said, powder-coat them black. I like the bright aluminum wheels themselves better, but IMO black wheels look better on most colors.

Good luck!

Black is absolutely needed for maximum intimidation. I get tons of props on my black ZL-1 with the black wheels. To each his own though.

Black wheels are awesome. It makes My IOM look meaner. A lot of people love it and think they are the option wheel. Standard I tell them, they love it.

I love the look of my bright aluminums and only got them becasue they have ZL1 engraved in them and the black ones simply say camaro. The black ones are lighter also, but I can't remember how much. 7lbs maybe? I like the way both of them look to be honest with you.

I agree. I can't stress how much better these wheels look from picture to seeing them in person. IMO they look more aggressive than the black wheels. Glad I decided to go with them.

Yep, the only downfall is the damn brake dust. I can wash almost my entire car in the time it takes me to wash the wheels alone. I had already lined up my body guy to powder coat them to look like the Carbon Concept wheels, but after I got my car I decided to just leave them alone.
