.... People are rotten...

Man that is terrible, I feel for you. The only wheels I've ever had stolen from me was when I was 10 & I had a brand new BMX.. I left it at the door of a convenient store while I went in real fast to grab a chocolate bar.. I was literally like 30-45 seconds.. I purposely rushed cuz I didn't wanna leave the bike un guarded, I came out to see some little bastard riding away with it down the street. That image has stuck with me for over 17 years !! lol. If only I could imagine what he'd look like now

As for my Camaro.. It's not here yet but when it is I think it'll be pretty safe. Have got my bedroom setup above the garage, with a 20 foot window above the driveway. Also have a rotty (will have a second one before the car gets here) and the rotty barks up a storm if someone so much as farts on our property... If I caught someone under my car, I'd remove the wheels myself and just make sure he didn't get out from under the car.

I'll be gettin locks & a security system regardless though.

How about a group buy for McGard wheel locks? Maybe one of our commercial members can get us a group buy going?

I'm in for 2 sets for GM vehicles. One set for an '09 Vue, one set for a 10 Camaro SS.

Takes alot of balls to come into your yard and steal the wheels off your car . The thieves here in Alaska have to wait until winter, cause during the summer it never gets dark . I hope you find the SOB's

That sucks!

That totally sucks. I hope they get the guys that did that...

But I still don't get why people don't put their cars in the garage. Probabally worth more than the junk in the garage. Unless it's filled with exotic sports cars.

Good luck!!!

Unhappy

damn, what a shame. I hate it when people have no care about people or property. looking at your road trip pictures yesterday I was thinking what a privilege for you to have the number 3, and such a beautiful car.

couple of weeks ago, I came home from work, and the tail light assemblies were gone from both sides of our Silverado, also sitting in the driveway. we're concerned about the Camaro because we don't have a garage. hope to have something in place in the carport before it gets here...cameras, bright lights, alarms...

Doah number 3 got defiled? OMG I would of shot them...

Well if you keep the locks inside and not in the glove it helps. (future note once you get locks)

2 Way Paging Alarm and a good firearm + dogs.

That's my prescription.

Even if a cat jumps on my vette or truck the wireless pager in my house gives 3 little beeps for the motion sensor.

yeah, stealing the wheels then dropping the car on the ground is not cool. hope you find who did this! and i hope there's no under-body damage as well.

I would say this is a blessing in disguise. As much as OEM wheels cost from the dealer, you can buy a nice set of aftermarket wheels

Hum Camaro Scotty posted a PN I think for the GM locks.

Might also ask The Parts Ladi on ebay (simply THE best GM original parts shop on the bay).
