Really...it isn't that difficult. IF THIS IS ALL TRUE and the dyno is calibrated correctly, all they have to know is that this tune would sell like friggin hotcakes if they only came here and gave us all more information.

We want to know all mods, info about the tune, the dyno sheet (any before/after numbers), and dyno correction factors. AFR would be nice as well.

Have stayed out of this, but it would be amazing if it could be verified on another dyno showing A/F, etc.

One thing we learned years ago, is correction, calibration, and manipulating a few factors we all can make a dyno show inflated or deflated #'s.

Back in the late 90's we had the "dyno wars" on LS1tech and corvette forum between shops, and it got so crazy we dropped out of it and went to 1/4 mile times. SAE corrected our C5 bracket car (not the Bat car, the 200k mile car) made 346 rwhp and ran mid to low 11's and was bracket raced across the country in the big$ footbrake races and paid for itself many times over in winnings. That is why on our products we like to see 2-3 different dynos in different parts of the country done on different cars to verify gains of the products before we claim xxx hp and tq.

I got mine dyno Friday at the GM St. Catharines Plant Event & mine was 240 rwhp. I'll post the Dyno sheet once I get home tonight. Is this number low for what I have?

What kind of dyno? they are all different. Some would say you need a base dyno something to start with. and the days weather.

I didn't even bother looking into this. I'm getting my car worked on by another shop right now, switching back to the stock super charger pulley. IMO if this shop could actually do what they claim, they'd be a lot more open about it and would be quick to find the dyno sheets for V6owner, unless they're really that dense.

Most stock V6's dyno around that power level.

IMO a dyno is kinda of worthless if you don't have a before/after dyno. You cannot compare dyno numbers to someone in a different area.. or even in the same area on a different dyno. Heck, even the same area and same dyno will net differing numbers.

In conclusion, don't compare to someone else It's better used as a tuning tool.

I honestly wouldn't worry about it that much since you do not have a before/after dyno. Like I said, you cannot compare what I dynoed at in Texas to what you did in Canada. These dynos can take into account weather, DA, etc. BUT you still cannot really have an apples to apples comparison.

If you take your car to the drag strip how are your times compared to other V6's?

might be a little low, but due to the heat that you were running in this could be the best you can get. Also, all dyno's are different.
