![]() It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. As soon as we get through the rest of Richie's spoiler (and start making more for the rest of the community), we've got a ZL-1 front splitter that's almost ready for Josh (Pyr0b0y) that'll go next. Once THAT'S done, we've got a project with Howard Tanner and Redline Motorsports (www.redline-motorsports.net/) to do some really slick custom work for his ZL-R program. After THAT, it's on to a hood, if we can get a donor from which to make a mold. ![]() Then we'll do ZL-1 side skirts and maybe a hood insert. |

Nah, I don't think you're jumpy at all. I know how it is to want a part to get delivered.

Just wondering what the majority of people have done in regards to installing their ZL1 trunk spoiler. Are you guys removing the 2 inner bolts off the ZL1 spoiler or drilling 2 holes in the trunk instead. I took my RS to a body shop and they said that if they drill the 2 inner holes, they would have to drill holes underneath the trunk (shell) so that there's room to secure nuts.

Hmmm. I was messing around with the ZL1 spoiler and wanting to get a very close rendering of the same stripe theme as the Transformer Edition (2010 version) and figured out I could buy two non-spoiler trunklid transformer deck stripes to make one. I simply cut the ends off under the spoiler, and use the other one to lay on the spoiler up to the top edge. Or I COULD simply run them all the way over, but I'm thinking I may would have to alter/stretch them to go and look straight. Probably not a good idea, so I'm going to likely stay with the top of the spoiler route. Laying the stripe up against the top of the spoiler, it appears it will be PERFECT.
But we'll see. I still get to keep the original TF decklid when/if I want to go back to stock.

I can share with you guys this little nugget of good news: when we make our Carbon Spoilers, we'll be adding the studs to different locations when the piece goes on an SS/LT vs. a ZL-1.

I really want to do this but am scared of what my trunklid looks like under the spoiler
and I'm out of warranty so I don't think my dealer will repaint it :(

Will you be making a non-carbon version?

But that doesn't get you a Carbon Fiber spoiler.
![]() ![]() I could, but it's only like $180 to buy an OEM plastic spoiler directly from GM, so it'd be cheaper and faster for you that way. (I'd love to have you buy one from me, but that only benefits me, not you.) |

Thanks for keeping up with us on this one.
We've had some internal changes that have slowed us down these last few weeks, not to mention the stuff we're doing for SEMA that's got to get out. Here's a link to another thread in which I basically bring everyone up to speed on what's what with us. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=256790 I'm not sure if I can post up a price in here without getting in trouble, but if you give me a few I'll post an update on our Facebook page.
