Nope. If you ever want to go back to stock all you need is a new bulb. Which if I remember right runs like $7

Go get yourself a small tube of Grade 2 clear kitchen and bath silicone (same that you use to re-seal the lens) and dab a small amount on the corners and then at 8 and 4 oclock. Thats how i held mine on and worked fantastic. let it dry completely before you move the lens arouns

Yep. I initially tried to do one for each, which I figured out was wrong when the 2nd light wouldn't light up. Put two and two together and realized I needed to put 2 of each wire into 1 t tap and it worked like a charm. You'll have the 2 red wires from the left lights going into 1 t tap and 2 of the blacks going into 1 t tap (same for the other side).

How do you know which side of the bulb is the outside in order to disable the parking light feature

There are 4 pins on the bulb. The two outermost pins are brake light. The two inner pins are parking light. Cutting one of the inside pins, either one, will disable the parking filament on the bulb. It is readily apparent when you are looking at the bulb. Mine should be done when I get some time off. CCFLS, all mounted, glued, dried, just need to reinstall and wire 'em up.

Not sure if this needs to be done on each bulb or just one per side.

Can anyone install these. I'm just a little mechanically inclined but I was going to just find someone local to install but no one will because you have to take the lights apart. Is it easy for anyone? Do you need certain tools? Or should I just wait to find someone?

Anyone can do it. Just have a beer or two and take your time. A thin bladed utility knife works great to get the lens off. I do recommend covering the lens with painters tape and dont try to wipe excess silicon off while it is still wet. Damned if I didn't get some on one of my lenses! Just trim the excess dry silicon off.

I installed the SMD's too. Mine don't look like yours though. Yours look sick. I am assuming they look way better when it gets darker.

Actually Moderator Stieger helped me with the directions. You have to pop the wire out and cut it to make it brighter.
