Got rear ended today, of course! 2k miles on my new Camaro

Traffic going 5 miles per hour, dude gasses it, boom right into me. I have to wait tomorrow to file my claim number. This sucks :(

Sorry to hear about your incident..

BUT

Do not forget to make sure his insurance company pays you for the "depreciation" of your vehicle it being a brand new car. So with that said make sure they fix everything to your standards and pay you for the depreciation value. They will more then likely ask you what your thinking as far as value goes. You should be able to easily get $2-3,500k out of them. Do not accept no for an answer they are lying to you and do not want to pay up if they tell you no. Every insurance company pays if the owner asks for it, if you don't they won't tell you. Do you know what insurance he has?

Let me ask you guys this question, we all love our camaros, do you think you would want to take it to your dealership to get fixed? or take it to another place and have it fixed also but for much much cheaper, most likely you can keep about 1k for yourself.

I would find a shop that is reputable, does insurance work, and also does custom painting. I find that most shops that offer upgrade services tend to do a more meticulous job. Insurance only repair shops usually hang em and bang em.

Was your sister driving again? Did she take your keys again that you hid in your backpack in the back of your closet?

Same thing happened to me last week. My brand new Camaro RS I got in June, I was sitting at a stop sign waiting for a chance for me to go and some idiot hit
Me from behind. I'm having to replace the entire back pumper as well. Sucks for sure, but at least it's
Not your fault, so the idiot who hit you will have to fix
It. I know how you feel though

State Farm has it, every insurance does. Just don't forget it, they'd rather give you cash then to settle it in a small claims court. TRUST ME!
