Well now I'm thinking LT's. I was worried with the LM2 because I heard a video And it sounded like a trumpet. But did some research and shouldn't sound that bad. Just need to decided what kind? Looking at Pace setter, BBK and TSP. Must have cats, whether I buy a tsp catted y or buy a ORY and have cats welded in. Just want to keep it under 8 or 900. Going to start saving now. I erased the code and it hasn't come back yet.

TSP 1 7/8. Stainless, excellent quality, $500. Can't be beat.

If you want 1 3/4, just go with eBay brands. Stainless for less than the price of cheap pacesetters. Supposedly great fit, too.

I wouldn't rule out the bbk long tubes either. 500 for headers and the y pipe with ceramic coating. Quite a few good reviews on ls1tech and everyone says very easy to install. One guy has a 6.0 with a 224 cam putting down 46x table with the bbk setup.

Yea i really like the TSP headers. Would it be worth saving the 100 and going with TSP 1 3/4?

Yea i saw good things about BBK but the only thing is they dont have a catted y. That is kind of a deal breaker for me.

But anyways just washed the car this morning, here are a few pics with my no grille mod. Im thinking about getting some inlays.

If you're fine with 1 3/4, browse the classifieds on tech. There are always people upgrading to 1 7/8. You can brands like qtp, flp, etc for cheap

Yea that's probably what I will do. What would u recommend for cats? I heard good things about the TSP catted y.

I've never looked into converters, but I'm sure tsp is fine. Affordable, too. Their merge looks better than pacesetter, hooker, or kooks

Yea if i go with headers, they will most likely be TSP. I think i am going to try and find just a used stock cat for now. Then maybe around tax return time pick up the LT's. Im just worried about the possible extra cost like motor mounts, plugs, wires, and just the overall hassle.

Unless you plan on adding some serious power 1 3/4 will be fine. There's really no need for the 1 7/8 unless you get up in the 500 hp and up. BTW bought my 1 3/4 stainless headers off ebay for $180 I think. Had 'em on for almost 3 months and they are holding up as well as the pacesetters or tsp's. Just thought I'd throw that out there if you're looking to save some money. My headers and ORY cost me a little under $350. TSP's y-pipes are really good fit well too.

Saved myself 200 and did the tires and wheels myself. Decided to just switch my tires and use the wheels in the winter. Love the look of these wheels.

If your still looking for a 1 3/4 LT's and cats around tax time then hit me up. I have SLP 1 3/4 headers, slp high flow cats on my ss and looking to up to 1 7/8 and no cats. They should be up for sale around then. Also have the SLP Y sitting in my garrage cause I have a custom x and slp LM1 true duals dumped before the rear setup... which will also be for sale around that time.

How is the clearance with the SLP's? I've heard most of them hang low?

Made alittle progess on the old car fixes. Got the window motor fixed. Was a real pain in the ass but got it done. But come to find out i have a crack in my taillights. Right between the reverse and the turn signal lights. Already found another set that i just need to pick up. Then just going to get a cheap replacement cat for now until i have the money for LT's. Then i can get back to modding!!!

Entered my car in her first show over the weekend. It was an all chevy show hosted by the MD camaro club. The 4th gen turnout was light but what was there was really nice. I was against a prestine 35th anniversary, a lightly moddified 35th and a bone stock NBM z28 with only 30k miles. I tied for 2nd with the Z. Thought that was very good considering im only 17 with this car as my DD and 51k miles.

Alright another little update. Got my taillights fixed, bought set from a friend of mine. Also did the heater hose mod yesterday. Actually made a noticeable difference, well atleast to me. Wish I would have measured it.

Picked up a set of UMI LCA relocation brackets at Carlisle today. Got a pretty good deal couldn't pass it up. Wish I had more money to spend haha

UMI always has great discounts at Carlisle.

Did you get the bolt-on or weld-on?

I got bolt ins. I like to have things on my car that can be easily removed and put back to stock. I plan to actually run almost the same suspension setup as you. Going to get new LCA's and 2 point SFC soon hopefully. Then later on a new panhard bar
