Yes you will need to have a way to power them up, i sale a harness for that its on the site but you need one to power the 2 sets of light right?

The hood is not bad on price, its the insert that is expensive.

Very simple GM is trying to keep the non ZL1 folks from buying them so they jack the price up

Yeah the stock ones will work perfect. At first I thought those 3 parts were needed to make the air flow into the brakes. But that is a completely different part.

Love it I just could not justify paying close to $6k when it was all said and done for the hood, exposed CF insert, and paint on the hood. So I opted for the Ebay ZL1 hood

I was debating on getting a different hood because I didn't think I would be able to get an insert. If I wouldn't have already painted the bumper I would have done it. Was looking at Seibon or Vis hoods with the 3 heat extractors on each side. Now I have to see how the GM ZL1 hood is going to fit with a whipple.:(


Is that hood functional, or do you have to cut the inside to make it extract the air?

It's functional plus it comes with a run off for the water

look up zl hood or zl style hood.. I have no clue why they didnt put it as zl1 hood, hard to find.

When you go to Ebay type in the search box 2010 Camaro hood it's the 4th or 5th one down the list.
