Drive Shaft Loop w/ DR's?
I know when I went thru inspection last night at the track the guy inspecting my car mentioned I should get myself some slicks so I wouldnt have to worry about burning up my street tires, but I would also need to install a drive shaft loop. Would this be required with drag radials or is this strictly for slicks? Or is that just based on the rules of the track?

You'll need a driveshaft loop with drag radials as well. Any "stivky" tire and it's required. You'll also need it if you are quicker than 12.99 IIRC.

But the tranny tunnel brace would act as a loop. The chance of the driveshaft dropping out is slim at best.

I have the Moroso DSSL. Takes about 15 minutes to install and is pretty cheap.

yep, i have the BMR brace as well. well worth the price for extra insurance. i dont the driveshaft coming up into the interior.
No, the factory tunnel brace wont help, its a two piece driveshaft.

Anytime you are going to be racing the car at the track with a sticky tire it is a good idea to run a driveshaft loop. Our driveshaft loops are easy to install and are good safety item to have. If there is anything we can help you with let me know. Kyle
