I've been there the past two years but won't be going this year. They are drag racing on the index format which won't allow you to run your car as fast as it will go as in bracket racing. I won runner-up 2 years ago and $250 and 5th last year wining a whole $75. But, index racing sucks! Have fun.

Correction to this post: My deepest apologies to HRD-WRK...I finished 5th last year not 3rd as stated in the original post with winning $75.

I spoke the RPM Trans guys and they said they're for sure coming. Should be a nice matchup between Jason (JRPXII) and them!! Im sure some of the other big hitters will be there and maybe a car or two we havent seen hit the 8's yet

I thought Holley LS Fest was the first week in Sept? You already ran it and won money? Yeah...index really sucks IMO. My car was running 12.68 last year and the index was either 12.5 or 13. I couldn't run 12.5 and it's impossible to slow your et down to run an even a 13. Yeah, I know there's strategy with weight and all sorts of other things, but I was totally unprepared for index and also didn't spend as much money as I did in mods to "slow my car down" to a 13. I much more prefer bracket drag racing.

No I won Bradenton and Atlanta. Index racing isn't for everyone, but a lot of us do it and enjoy it.

There is a madness to Index racing and Josh is certainly one of the few that has figured it out.

Hopefully, I will have mine sorted out this time so I will not be stuck between indexes like Atlanta. If the car runs like it did this past weekend and some better DA, I might be okay.

Thanks Tim. I raced 7.0 heads up for a long time. And it you weren't .020 or better on the tree and a 7.0x it was a waste of time going to the track.

Just so happened my car was right on the index at the other races. But has gotten me a little worried right now because it has slowed down a good bit and its in-between. I hate to touch it, but may have to make a few changes so it will run the number. I'm about ready to put a tune in it.

Glad your coming out Tim! Look forward to hanging out with you guys again. It has been too long since the last race. (The tree did save me BTW , since you were going 13.00x all weekend. )

I have been going .030 pretty consistent on the pro tree now, so just hope the car is close to the index

Either way gonna have fun and enjoy being able to race.
