Upgraded from a 2010 2LT/RS to a 2013 2SS/RS - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I loved my 2010 V6, but had several issues (intermittent engine misfires, got tired of trying to keep black clean, started to regret not getting the V8)...so since my warranty expired last month, yesterday I got a 2013 2SS/RS and I love it! I had a great (i.e. relatively painless) experience at the dealer and they were able to find one with the color and options I wanted nearby (except Nav, which I can live without).

The V8 is great, and along with the new features not present on my previous Camaro (backing camera and sensors, HUD, thinner rearview mirror, and the awesome new MyLink radio) it was well worth the cost of the upgrade. I also love the Crystal red tintcoat color -- hopefully it will be easier to keep looking good.

Congratulations! That is such a beautiful Camaro! What is your favorite feature so far? Have you had a chance to test out the ColorTouch radio fully?

Congratulations. Car looks great and I know you will enjoy the LS3. I have also just recently ordered a new 2013 2SS/RSS LS3 M6 to replace my 2010 model. I just wanted a new one with the bells and whistles including NAV, Hurst show throw shifter, and Dual mode exhaust. Hope you're enjoying your new ride.

I've played around with it quite a bit. I had trouble getting the travel link apps (weather, movies, fuel) to work, but after sending my radio a refresh from the XM website they are working. Kind of neat, but I wish it wasn't an extra subscription and could work through my phone.

My favorite feature so far is the Pandora app which lets me stream Pandora using my phone over bluetooth. I always had trouble getting bluetooth music streaming (of any kind) to work consistently in my 2010 and it is so easy to setup and use in the 2013 -- HUGE improvement.

Thanks, having only seen the polished wheels in pictures online (where they looked identical to the standard Midnight silver wheels to me) I was really surprised at how much nicer they look in person.
