clicking noise?!

Did some of you guys ever notice a fast clicking noise coming from the front ?

I experience it coming from the outside wheel when I go fast in a tight curve. Sounds like the clicking of a relay?

Wasn't braking nor did the traction control sign go on.

Google CTS-V rotor click. Need to have ur hubs possible greased or wheels tightened. New rotors from ZL1 fixed most of these problems on V's. it's the 2 piece rotors, aluminum center vs steel hub interface making noise on turns. Take to dealer for service.

This sounds like a great question for a dealership to answer at the service department. Have you thought about getting a proper diagnosis at a local dealership? We can set up an appointment for you if you would like!

Thank you Brandon. I already set up an appointment at the dealership.

Sometimes is helpful though to know if people had similar issues before.

Don't worry. Mine sounds like a bike with a card stuck in the spokes. New rotors and 120ft lbs and all is quite. 2 hours at dealer.

I hope this isn't the same rotor clicking the CTS-V's are plagued with. The clicking was so bad on mine, the dealer replaced them with two-piece rotors under warranty. My car had 300 miles on it at the time. There is a thread at CadillacForums worth reading.

I'm sure it is. But at least now there is a fix.

Just to let you know.

Car has been now at Rodgers for one week now. Had actually fun with the Service Team driving fast circles on the parking lot next door to reproduce the clicking noise. Today brand quality confirmed that the clicking is a normal noise which comes from the MRC.
