Hi, I am a former camaro owner. I used to have a 88 TTop coupe with the TBI 305 with an auto tranny. it had aftermaket cragar mags, and a grant steeing wheel to replace the fugly vertical rectangle center wheel. I sold it in 99, and shortly after the new owner totaled it. I have been wanting to get another one, as much as I LOVE the 5th gen car, I will probably get another 3rd or maybe a 4th gen car for now. I love the site and will be a active participant in the future .

WOW,
Welcome 3whiterag! BTW, I'm "only" 49 (sheesh). It sounds like we may have to lean on you for some inside scoop!
I can't keep away from this site. Visited my local dealership yesterday and introduced myself to the fleet manager, very nice lady by the way, but she said that I was still on her Camaro list for any details and all she could say was, "it comes out in 2009.......". I said yea, but maybe sooner?
Anyway, welcome again,
Ken

Thanks Ken! Much appreciated! From what I have seen, I think I am going to like it here. Lots of info and everyone seems very respectful of each other.

Another WMCC'er here. Wade from Middleville, MI. I have a 2002 Camaro SS that I bought new in July of 02 and am buying my dad's 85 IROC Z this year after the SS is paid off. Waiting for the 5th gen to come out and be able to order one and get it for employee pricing!

thought I'd check in.
I'm Damen, 24, from VA. I currently have a '99 Corvette.
The moment they start taking orders for the new Camaro, I will be ordering one
I had an '89 IROC-Z Convertible, back in the day, and I think Camaros are some of the best cars out there.

HI! My name is Dave, I've been reading your forum for a few months, and loving the great pics. I live in northern AZ, had an 80 camaro that eventually gave up it parts to create a 37 Pontiac for my old man. Currently restoring a 79 vette, that will donate its garage spot to the '09 Camaro! Thanks for the updates and photos, they keep me pumped until we can all drive one.....

Jay Leno does not have his own Camaro. He drove the silver coupe a while back and it started up tons of rumors over the net. It was driven into parking lot at Bobs burgers??? for a regular car show in California. No, he does not have his own 5th Gen Camaro. There are currently these Camaros:

This is from the man, Scott.

There are:

The silver coupe (runs)
The Red Fiberglass
The Silver fiberglass -- in Melbourne, Austrailia
The Two Gold cars for the Transformer movie
The Orange convert.

Jay Leno does not have one.

That location would most likely be the Bob's Big Boy in Burbank. Leno has been known to make an appearance at the weekly Friday car show.
