Matching Color paint code

Here is the situation. I am getting my interior parts painted. From automotivetouchup.com I ordered the yellow WA9414 from the list of paints they had for the 2012 camaro. I got a couple of the parts today and it looks like they are a shade lighter than the exterior. I went back to automotivetouchup and noticed there are 3 pther yellows in there: 34, 9414, and GCO.

For those of you who have painted the interior and have a 2012 yellow camaro, could you tell me what color code you used when painting? From what my eyes are telling me the GCO looks a little darker.

paint code

I also ordered the WA9414 spray paint from them and it was lighter. I emailed them the problem and they said to ask the dealer what code I should use. I did that and the dealer said the GCO was the dealer code and that the WA9414 was the code the paint shop would use. I told this to the company and they had me spray the test card that came with the paint and send it to them, which I did and am currently waiting to hear back from them. They said if it was their problem they would ship me new paint at their expense. So hopefully will hear from them soon, all this happened last week.

Remember....most paints go on top of a primer or sealer so for it to match the same way, you'll want to keep that in mind.

With that being said.....

Rally Yellow (GCO)
GM Code WA9414
Ditzler/PPG 82960
Dupont H9041
Sherwin Williams 44060

Hope this helps...

While waiting for my original order to be fixed from the first place I got a few cans from GMPartsDirect and they were a perfect match, but they only come in 5oz. cans. Still waiting for the test sample from autotouchup.
