Hey Gretchen, Scrming, & Turbo99 my buddy is a GM ACEP graduate, a GM mechanic, and is in school for automotive, and mechanical engineering. Anyways he said that the forged pistons available on the market for some of the Ecotec family may work. Someone who knows a little more want to chime in?

we have had a few telecons, and are going to meet up soon after some initial measurements are taken, we need to decide if there is enough room physically for the compressor he uses now, if not, we'll have to do some research to find a low enough profile compressor to work with the stock hoods.

otherwise an aftermarket hood would be required, and many people may not be up for that!?!?

i am going to do what i can to make this happen!!

i wish i had a bunch of cash to ease it along, but i will survive!!!

may have to sell a motorcycle or two, but hey!!

Or go old school and just cut a hole in the stock hood.

my car is gone... elderly people in florida dont know how to drive and should require a driver test every other year once they hit 65 yrs old.... i know everyone harps on young stupid kids wrecking cars but it isnt acceptable for old people to pull there 60ft long buicks out right in front of you... anyways i havent been on the forum in a while and wont be back most likely for a good while... btw no one was hurt, i avoided the car but not the curb/sidewalk/ect... driving an f150 now

Wow - hate to hear that, but glad you weren't hurt. Thats always most important thing.

Tracy, are you still in the development for a roots-stye FI system? Id like to talk more in depth if you are...maybe better of PM than on this thread...but at any rate to discuss the pros/cons of the roots style super charger system you're considering compared to the existing centrifugal FI you already have for sale...
