Maybe he said "underhood" but it came across to me as "underhook". When I pick it up I will find out where it is. Apparently it's important. I know that the North and South are a country seperated by a common language. He is from Minnesota I am from Virginia/Florida.

For those who are interested here is the low down on the "underhook fuse box". According to the repair order the parts replaced were 1. Ignition switch 2. Underhood fuse block part #22760637.

Chevrolet had to be brought in to complete the diagnostics. They showed an intermittent open circuit in the fuse block which caused the car to shut down and show "service stabilitrac" it also damaged the ignition switch that is what caused onstar to show "engine starter system failure".

Picked the car up this afternoon and it is running fine. Also had a talk with dealership owner and we are on the same page regarding customer service.

Thanks to everyone for their input. Thanks to Chevrolet, and the service techs.

This exact thing happened to me today. Sorry for your experience, but I have to say mine was completely different! Called the dealership and they told me to bring it in as soon as I wanted. Turns out my ECM was bad and got replaced under warranty. In about an hour or so I was in and out
