Ok Mike that makes sense. I never gave warm up much of a thought but I will let it sit longer. I also never knew about checking spring pressure. I will add that. I wish there was a sticky of yearly inspections for cammed cars for those who have little knowledge. Maybe someone can make one explaining all the extra's of caring for cammed cars? Like I have said many times, I don;t beat on the car, never race it, smoke the tires or red line. Sometimes just for fun I will wind out 1 thru 4 but shift around 5,000ish rpms. Maybe I will lower my shift point to 4,000?


SSE I used a name brand shop and have no issues witht he shop at all. They did a good job on the initial install and have really helped me out on the rebuild.

I did the JRE cam package which included

LS Trunion Upgrade

Thanks Mike I will. This has been educational as I never thought of or new of the extra care to give my car. As I once told a friend, the Camaro has no budget. I will spend what I have to to maintain her.

I know there were issues with 2010 chains. I have a 2011 that was made in Oct 2010. I wonder if I could have had a bad chain?

Not to revive this thread from the dead, but I was surprised to come to these forums and see so many people running aftermark underdrive pulleys. Me coming from the import world, we stopped using these forever ago due to harmonics being thrown off and killing oil pumps etc.

The only aftermarket pulley I would put on my car period, would be a ATI fluidampner. Other than that, I will always keep the pulleys stock. I don't know why that seems to be the one thing that the aftermarket arena can't seem to get right, but no sweat off of my back. It's not a huge power adder anyway.

100% agree with you. Underdrive pulleys are stupid all you're doing is reducing your charging, cooling, and steering all of which you need in a performance application. And all for what 3hp?
