LOL Chase, I thought you were about to comment on her hair. I told her it matched my manifold.

Here is one more short video clip of us re-installing the manifold over the black Iceolator. You have to be careful as the manifold has gasket maker "goop" on it & you have to place the manifold precisely, lining up the bolt holes without moving it around much. I tried to load up some of Andy's pics but I am giving up for the evening. They will have to be re-sized before my computer can upload them to C5.

Report back how your 1/4 times have improved. I like that you drive that car how it should be driven. Not a lot of Camaro owners (especially V6) show up to the track here in Central Fl. Good job.

Nice job & looks great! Just an option, I went with the stainless braided hose at first to and from my catch can. I liked it but felt some colored hose may look nicer. I got this quality silicone hose from these folks.

http://www.siliconehose.com/commerce...cuum-hose-.htm

The hose is 3/8" and fits nice and tight on the fittings. Cost is reasonable too.

The red hose may look nice on your setup.

I will post up my time slips & hopefully there will be a good improvement on my times. We should have good weather. Not many V6's race here either which is why I end up racing (and occasionally beating) V8's. Our actual races are bracket which of course helps but I have beat a few outright. Spinnin' aint winnin"! One wants a re-match this time. I said bring it! Yeah, I have a blast. It is even fun with something like the ZL1 I raced in Indianapolis, blows me away. I wish my husband would either race his SS or let me.

Weather here sucks too right now (for racing anyways, great for being outside). Had a DA of 2100+ on the run in my sig. Not the worst I've seen but it could be better.

Bracket racing is a trip. Again, the timeslip in my sig, I bracket raced a 600+hp 2011 GT500 in my club. Even with a 2 sec head start, it was amazing to see this guy chase me down in my side view mirror. But as I "won the race", I guess I know my car a little better the knows his.

I took Ruby out for a nice ride today. It was hard to hold her back. she did NOT want to go in town speeds of 30-45. When we got out of town I wanted to punch it just a little. When I did.......................HOLY CRAP ! I didn't even have the pedal close to half way down & in a flash she hit almost 6000 rpm so I quickly backed off. I needed to re-learn how to drive her. Ruby & I are both re-learning now. I was very careful with accellerations after that. The engine is sounding better too. I am trying to download a video clip Andy made of how she sounded when we first started her up. She sounded kind of rough then. I'll try to get another clip of her sound when I get enough miles on the new mods for the re-learn. I probably have logged about 40 mi already. I'll post the video whenever it loads (probably middle of the night or in the morning ). Me thinks the drag strip is going to be REALLY fun this weekend!

Just do your best to keep that intake cool (which is what the ice-olator does of course) but if the car sits too long, it will still heat soak. Hopefully when the car is running and the air is flowing through that will cool it down a bit quicker...and we all know that should equal better 1/4 mile times!

Good luck!
