meh, somewhat but you'll still have that coffin sized resonator killing your sound.

I agree that the stock exhaust is very weak. I own a 2012 2ss/rs l99 and I recently installed a cai inc intake. The made a huge difference in the sound. The sound was deeper, louder, and sounded better overall when on the throttle. The sound is still not loud enough. So... I just purchased a borla atak exhaust. I can't wait to hear the sound.

If anything, pick up a stock LS3 car exhaust(you know everyones changed em, they'll prob sell cheap, prob some local to you), and delete the mufflers, you now have an un-resonated, un-muffled exhaust, with stock cats, should suffice for ya man.

I Agree, the stock exhaust is weak and the muffler is freakin ugly and huge! I just put my borla atak exhaust on my camaro, and it was a huge difference. Trust me you wont regret gettting the borla atak exhaust.

Muffler delete is the way to go until you go to headers and bigger exhaust. Best $60 I have spent.

Add: the muffler delete takes about 70 pounds of the car.........

I dont think the stock mufflers weigh 35 lbs each. If so, mine are coming off tonight.

It's IDEALG's car featured in this thread:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=199826

Ask him. I'm SURE he'll be glad to tell you everything he did to get that sound. And then, maybe he won't.
