1le Below Invoice

Has anyone placed and order below invoice?

I'm always looking for a better deal and just curious if dealers are taking orders below invoice on the 1le.

If so, please mention state of dealer and how much you were able to get taken off the invoice.

Thanks.

I believe I am paying below invoice. The dealer is in New York and I am pretty sure i managed to get about 1000 below. It does help that the dealer is a major member of the Camaro club I am apart of and is in general, a great guy!

Is your dealer trying to mark you up??? don't tell him you specifically are trying to buy a 1LE... then he will know he can bust your balls. just check off the 1LE code while doing your build. Best of luck!

It varies from dealer to dealer. There are numerous posts here of members reporting paying under invoice. This issue isn't 1LE specific. The same applies to other models as well.

This will be the 3rd car I've bought through the same dealership and he happens to be my uncle. First two were for him, this one's for ME :P

Now I feel like I got screwed. I only really asked for Invoice, I guess I could've gone lower, but the dealers around me don't exactly negotiate very much with Camaro's I don't know why they think their still hard to get or something.

Maybe not! some here may not know what dealer invoice is on a car. A good rule of thumb is:

Car MSRP (no options) minus 4%
Options minus 12%
add the two together for dealer invoice.

Dealer still gets hold back and dealer bonus for so many sales each month and other discounts on specific cars...

Some may truely get below invoice on year old models or a color that is not moving or EOM dealer trying to make bonus or GM cutting a deal with dealer on specific model etc...I would say on the C-5 Real invoice is a fair to great deal.

If you want to contact him and tell him that you heard he offered me a good deal, feel free! Do NOT although throw me under the bus and tell him that I'm bragging about how low he can get me(under invoice). I don't wanna mess up my sale and don't want to put words in his mouth as a salesman for a quote for someone else. He's a great guy!

Just mention I strongly recommended him for a good price and see what he can do for you.

Ask for Rick Krantz @ http://www.gamblinmotors.com/
1-(877) 459-1449

He can have your car "drop shipped" anywhere you want. (There is a small fee depending on what dealerships charge and some don't)

Appreciate it! I'm just going to hold off for a ZL1 for the time being. I would get a 1LE but most likely a 2014.

Very much appreciated though, but I won't be shopping for a new Camaro anytime soon...

Are you guys just negotiating to $1000 under invoice or using private offers and incentives?

To help those here, please expand on this. What is the sticker price for just the car and what is the total window sticker $s for just the options??

Now what year is the car and what was the price they offered?
