After talking to installer I donít think it is installed correct and none of my support questions to owner have been answered. We canít provide much support without communication. The other Whipple installs have yielded great results! This is a Whipple in picture, Sage reports IAT staging around 70deg and below 130deg crossing the ľ mi. Very close results hot lapping in 95deg Fl

im sure that whipple is not running on a 416 and 10 rib setup and spinning the blower as hard as it will spin with 17 pounds boost with the 2.75 pulley...
you never asked for no information...
and yes the kit is installed to your directions. you asked what water temp was thats all u asked me ...

Lethal Racing Lafayette Louisiana did an install Friday on a Maggie Camaro with great results! I believe the owner will post up once he drives the car a few days. Nick at Lethal Racing is up for more installs!

I’m available for phone support 7 days a wk I replied to your text Saturday with a question and today with a question but no replies just bashing on forum.
Yes water temp is the first question and first place to start. If water is not getting cold then we need figure out why. That’s all the Super Chiller does is make cold water.

and we did not install the cheap water gauge ... water is getting cold just not effecting the iat cause of heat soak where and sensor location on whipple.
is air suppose to travel through chiller at idle?

Posting a bad review without seeking support is Bashing a product.
Air never flows through a Super Chiller only Water and Freon.
Without water temp I would not know where to start. You donít have to mount the digital display it can be hidden under hood or under dash just for diagnostic use.

A 416 with 17lb boost will not see the low temps a stock engine at 10lbs but benefit is still in proportion. The description you posted above is not working.

70deg water feels cold to the touch but we need to be seeing a 50deg reduction in water temp on vs. off. Even with your setup we should at least get close to that. I donít believe your description of performance reflects anything close to that. In fact it seems backwards, your IAT should be lower at idle than WOT. Sounds to me like a simple mistake somewhere in wiring, vacuum or water hose routing.

Dave, take alittle different approach here. He is only saying what he has NOT bashing.
Whipple you should deffinetly have cold IAT at idle, if you don't have the water temp gauge hooked up you should still see a IAT drop of 25*+ from abient, also your hoses should be cold/sweaty and the water temp should prolly be around 40*. You have a vaccume leak or a bad divertor valve. Look at the didvertor valve to see if it is fully closed when the A/C is on, if its not it will be allowing the water from the stock exchanger to mix in and not be as productive as it can be.

i am still confused here... i am getting 55 degree water and no drop in IAT ?? my iat will go all the way to 180 with car idleing for over 10 mins....
maybe someone has a solution or something to check...
maybe something in the tune that comes with the canned with tune for the iat sensor that is not in my current tune ?
just makes no sense to have cold water and no iat drops at all.. even with chiller off iat are the same...

You have a PM about relocating the IAT sensor.

Also I found my car with only get the water to 50* at idle in regular mode, I goto comp mode and bring the idle up to 1100 and in 5 minutes the water goes to 35-40*.

Did you add additional freon? I am sure you did just running through things that happened to me, mine was aggervating to get the freon level correct, I either had the chiller work great and sucky A/C or the other way but we finnaly got a happy spot.

lol the proper level I am not sure I added and removed freon so many times before I got it right it was plain silly. But I was the first one on Camaro so I think they know the right amout now and would think it is in the instruction but could be wrong.
