Great idea

On another note; I know there's a thread on this already; however, what's the Jack of Choice?

I cut squares out of the hard rubber floor mates that you can buy. that are about 3/4 or inch thick and use those for the hyd. jack and jack stands so my undercarriage doesn't get scratched. we use them on hoists in our garage also.

I purchased the 2 ton heavy duty floor jack from Tire Rack this week, very nice!!!
I'm fortunate as my garage slab is up about an inch from the driveway so when I pull the nose of the car in the slab gives it that extra bit of clearance to get the jack under.
The jack also has a rubber pad on the cup so no need for wood or hockey puck to protect the frame.
Thanks for all the advice.

Sorry to revive this thread, but what he said! Going to work on installing some Subframe inserts, but both the floor jack and jack stand positions show all the subframe mounts. Surely there is another location in the rear.

Myself and many others lift the rear using the rear differential with no issue. Some people will not suggest this but I've had no issues.
