If the floor is epoxy coated. It will make a lot of noise when the tires are turning on it. Are you sure its not the floor as previously mentioned? The garage floors in my current and previous house are epoxy coated and are noisy when the tires are turned on it. Is the noise there when you turn hard on a non-coated concrete or asphalt surface?

It is likely impossible to completely eliminate sliding on a non-grippy floor for tight turns. The reasons involve steering and front suspension geometry considerations that are beyond the usual static alignment parameters (camber, caster, toe), and for which no adjustments or corrections exist.

if tires are rubbing on any part of the car, you would easily see rub marks. I doubt highly that tires are rubbing. I have a big garage with granite chips epoxy floor and it sometimes sound like the tires are sliding and not rolling. I love my garage floor.

As others have mentioned, this is the differential clutch pack doing its job....at the wrong time. If it happens, it often occurs when cold, on tight corners...#214 had this issue, but as I understand it - not all ZL1s do. Recommend you head to the dealer for a fluid change.

Ask them to check Technical Service Bulletin's and if it is what I think it is, then they'll cover the change under warranty. It's actually not that big of a deal I'm happy to say.

...quick note, moving cars around on epoxy floors cause alot of noise and tire chatter from the tire contacting with the floor surface....if your car makes noises outside on road surfaces designed for operating cars on that is another issue.
