While at the gym today I spent 20 minutes in the parking lot scoping out a zl1 thinking about all of the things that I need to add to my 1le.
I don't know if I'm crazy but madness is surely settled in.

Good luck on getting them tomorrow guys.

i haven't checked with Becky for another update yet after getting my VIN...but i have been shopping around for mods

so far i've already received my skip-shift eliminator, fender stripes, and front fascia blackout vinyls...i'm going to blackout the rear as well. still waiting on my rx catch can that i ordered a couple weeks ago

today i've spent a lot of time looking at lights/lighting...got some ideas. I ordered yellow 2SS w/NPP, but really like the halos. Just didn't want to spend the money on the RS package. so i'm looking at the morimoto H1 5.0 retrofit now with colorshift halos...also thinking i'll put the LED reverse lights in after seeing the difference on AAC's site. opinions/thoughts?

i know it's not really an "order" update, but i didn't think i wanted to start a build thread since that'll sort of commit me to the project

Nice ideas. Can you post a URL to skip-shift eliminator and the fascia vinyls?

Skip shift eliminators are readily available on eBay for around $15 w/free shipping. That's where I got mine. I know vendors here like slp and I think apex sell also, but cost a little more. Ill get the vinyl links up here before bed, don't recall where exactly ATM...

I put the reverse leds in my vert... they are bad ass. AAC is right down the street from me. I would also suggest the led conversion and the license plate leds. I also did front and rear footwells. Their blue is the closest match to the GM ice blue color. Now go join team 1LE!!

What do you think of these: $80 to convert to xenon

the vinyls i bought from MnP Customs - http://www.mnpcustoms.com/camaroCategories.html
they don't have a WHOLE lot for us, but they've got some pretty good prices on what they do have compared to some other sets i've seen and they look like they're pretty good quality from what i've received so far. the fender stripes are definitely a lot cheaper than getting them from GM! they look like they will run all the way down to the wheel well, but careful trimming should take care of that.
tram, i'll definitely be looking at the reverse LEDs in the near future. $230 for the tinted set seems a little steep to me right now, but i'm sure i'll wind up with them eventually
not sure if i'm going to do ambient lighting or not...i'll have to decide on a color first, i guess. not a big fan of blue. i even yanked all the blue lights out of my computer case and replaced them with red, then stuck a couple of uv sticks in there to make the reactive cable wrap look good
the DIY section is great, i managed to find austinjames' thread on exactly how to do the headlights i want earlier tonight. really happy about that

i'm only just learning about aftermarket headlights, so take that into consideration with whatever i say but if all you're looking to do is swap bulbs to HIDs that seems like a pretty cheap way to get into them...that being said, i haven't heard anything pos/neg about that company, but a lot of people on C5 have nothing but great things to say about TRS, so this is what i'm probably going with -
http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...roducts_id=227

i was looking at going up to HID projectors, painting the shrouds and the rest of the housing black, and adding halos...as it happened i found austinjames' thread where he did exactly what i was thinking about -
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=201133

tram - thought about plasti-dip, but it's hard to get out in HI :( my roommate was going to dip his R32 and found that out...he ordered the color he wanted and the shipment made it to the island before being sent back to FL, never received. guess it's considered hazmat. can get it through retailers, but they want you to buy a whole box of the stuff, and (home depot at least) won't let you mix/match colors :(
oh, and i joined your team 1le, once i found the join button, lol...

Just checked Chevy.com and my baby was finally built and is status Shipped(headed for hood wrap no doubt). So far I have received my Mild-to-Wild exhaust controller and am waiting on my carbon fiber bow ties. I had my dealer order the ZL1 rockers panels as well, as he gives me excellent deals. Other than that I surely plan on installing a CAI, and will see where else that takes me.
