All the pictures show the parts out of the box. Black primer, it should be coated or painted.

got it, thanks. im looking into getting this coupled with making the mail slot functional. and ill probably get this piece plastidipped.

HI Guys,

Thank you for your patience, I can confirm we are in our last stages of production, the TL1 Insert Tooling is complete, the outside panels are all molded. We are simply waiting for the insert grills and deflectors to come back from the powder coaters

Stay tuned as we begin filling orders.

Hi Joseph,

I think you will install that Part on your yellow Cammy? I like to See a picture from the combination: Hood Ports and TL1 Insert. If that looks in the Way I hope, you geht a Order.

Btw. My Hood Port Kit arrived two das ago. A Long Way from Canada to Germany.

looks great!!!!!!!! just a quick question, Will the insert stick up higher, like a quarter inch or something? Or is it flat, like if you put your hands along it,its the same level as the hood.

It has a molded edge designed so the part sits on the painted surface. Notice how we only cut a rectangular area only in the front. The insert sit on the cowl, it is a little less than 1/4'' (somewhere near 4-5 mm)

Similar mounting system to the original Zl1, the difference is the ZL1 Hood was stamped with a recess.
