Bump...

Question. So can I just buy an 8000k hid kit for the "fog lights"? As I understand, hid's run at a cooler temperature. I don't think it'll be a problem? Just going for the "blue DRL's on all day" look.

I have foglights on my 2010 2LT and i can turn on my foglights with my headlights on. I can not turn my Highbeams on with my foglights on however.

HIDs will most likely melt the housing. I say most likely because I'm not a big fan of saying "always."

Anyone that's wondering, read through this thread, should tell you everything you need to know. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=252161 4300K color temp should be the best color match for the HIDs.
