Supposedly the car was gonna be made into an all out race car, which is why it has so few options.

The car sold a while ago, there was a thread on TGO about it.

A very desirable thing from a collector's standpoint...this will be sacrilegious here I'm sure, but even in the '80s...not a stellar performer.

True but the body on them is awesome. And then there is always mods that can take care of the performance issues.

Sure but as soon as you do it's no longer a pristine '85 any more, it's just another modified '80s Chevy

The real value of that car would be for people restoring their own similar vehicle

Very true, but if I bought one I wouldn't care about selling it.

Kinda like opening a time capsule. A perfect template for restorers.

Too bad he didn't store it better.

I don't think it sat in that trailer for years and years, the Roadrunner doesn't look quite as dirty.

Also wonder what's in those other two trailers marked 'NO'

Maybe a 69 chevelle or camaro in the other trailers lol. But even if that car was not performance its in emaculant condition. Some wash wax polish new wheels new fluids and battery and filter and it would run... typical weekend work and this baby would win prizes and turn heads . <3

Huh? That car is loaded with options. About the only thing it doesn't have is the TPI motor. That , imo, makes this car less desireable. If it was a TPI 305 with a 5 speed, it would be killer.

I wouldn't want to put an LS3 in front of that stock trans and rear end.

I couldnt even imagine the smell from the critters that lived under the hood. It looks like none made it in the passenger compartment.

No wonder his post count is so high. He doesn't drive his car.
