So I was told to check some connections under the air bag. . . popped off the air bag for the second time and snapped off one of the air bag connectors. . . and I couldn't find any loos cables or connectors under the air bag...

I truly regret ever doing this mod. IMO, drive to someone that has done it many times before, pay for the gas and install. . I F-ing hate this.

One of the connectors for the steering wheel airbag??

If it is one of these connectors, it is part of the clockspring. PN is 20810972, Description is a RU458F-Coil. I paid 28.64 with tax at a local dealer here in Phoenix. List is 37 dollars and change.

I'm sorry you're having so much trouble. Hopefully it'll be all up and running flawlessly with minimal expense. I am starting this mode soon and hope to avoid similar issues.

Was told the ECU was FULL of error codes. . . None to trigger a light on the dash, but more of secondary codes. . said most where from "low voltage". Not sure how they all got there, but they reset the computer and all is good now. . thank god.

My guess. . . no battery tender... on / off / on / off with the battery. . plus installing the Onstar incorrectly led to all the error codes.

Taking the rest of the night off.. spending it with friends and family.. Will start back up on Monday.

So you just remove the bolts, but not the airbag, correct?
