I put 4 coats on each wheel. I did not clear coat them but thought about it.

Hello, I just bought a 2010 RS, and the RF wheel has curb rash, so I'm going to do my wheels soon (as well as some of the badges, etc.) I watched a video at dipmycar.com, and they didn't tape around the lugnuts at all. This seems pretty silly- if I need to remove a wheel for some reason, I would expect that process to disturb the plasti... right? Any suggestions on "best practice" in regards to the lugnuts?

Not necessarily, as long as they are spray foam it won't damage the dip. Most of the ones you use an application to put on tire shine will eat through it though. And if you have time go over the edge where the tire meets the rim. Because they will start to peel from their after a while if you didn't get the edges
