Wasn't hard at all, just follow the template, I used a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade.
Aluminum is easy to cut. It was much easier than when I installed a Sunroof in my 76 Chevette.

When you took the stripe off the back. Did the paint still match up.....angrybird.

Since they had only been on for 6 months there was no problem with the paint matching. Even when I had my 2010 yellow Camaro I took off the factory stripes after 2 years and the paint still matched.

Anytime, always happy to answer questions.

If anyone is on the fence about getting one, I say do it...it's hard mentally to cut into a perfectly good hood but once you drill the first mounting hole it gets easier..

I went out in the rain and took this picture for you.

Last night I started the car up and let it warm up. the heat coming out of the vents was quite a bit. I can see how it will keep underhood temperatures down.

Yep,first cut is tough,all good after that.My experience from my fender vents anyways,no doubt it will be the same on the hood.

Sorry a Zr1 Front bumper conversion for a camaro SS with the heritage grill mod and painted... I should have call it the zr1 conversion.....
