I'd have to say my favorite feature so far is the power!!

My daily driver is a 4 cylinder econo-box.

Excellent choice. I hated driving my '66 Chevelle SS in Chicago in the winter, but it was my only car back in those days. I really had to keep the salt off it with a lot of washes.

South side or North side?? I was a South-sider and learned to fly at Midway in '64/'65 while I was still in Gage Park High School. Working now for the FAA, Flight Standards, writing policy for instrument flight procedure development.

Enjoy the new ride when you can!!

Very cool!

I'm on the north side now...out towards O'Hare. I got my license out at Schaumburg Regional (06C). Only have my PPL right now.....just fly occasionally on the weekends when time, weather, and money permits me too.

Love the Chevelle you had!

Can't beat the Chicago area for flight training and the opportunity to log some "actual" IFR time in training when the time comes. Good luck.
