Just received my new car yesterday!! Ordered online at the "Chevy Mall". Bought the silver, looks sharp, can't wait for the real thing. Think I'll by another and have it painted to match a blue SS with white stripes.

Couldn't find any hot wheels at Target or Wal-Mart today. Believe me, I was looking! I think I need to swing by Toys R Us and see if they have any. I did see the ones on ebay too.

As much as I hate Walmart, I did swing by there yesterday and found the two 1:32 RC cars

Hot Wheels

I went out to Target to day and found the new Hot Wheels car Chevy Concept Camaro, It looks pretty nice. but on the back it says "The Chevy Camaro Concept has been one of the most popular concept cars of the year!in fact its so popular, it will be mass produced by 2008!" per some of the conversations I have had here over the last couple days I wanted to check here and see what the deal is. if the quote is true then good but if not then Hot Wheels might want to change it, or it would be a false statment...true?! Any ideas?

well you figure the 09 models would be released to dealerships starting Oct/Nov 2008..so their statement isnt really false IMO.

You are seriously taking a statement a toy company made as fact? Come on…

The Camaro will be produced by 2008, that has already been stated many times. It is supposed to be available for sale in showrooms in the first quarter 2009, maybe a little earlier

So far I have seen two Hot Wheels versions, red and silver with a few variations between.

Greenlight has five 1:64 versions out and there is an all chrome 1:64 by Jada.
I have even seen a few more modded colors by Jada show up on ebay in recent weeks. I'm still hunting the pegs for those

Hot cars for sure

The 1/1 scale will be available late '08.

As for the 1/64 Hot Wheels, I've been able to find the silver one's pretty easily. But the red one. I found one about 3 weeks ago and nothing since. :(

No one is really going to know for sure when the camaro is acutally going to come out except the suits behind closed doors. If it's any consolation, if it comes out later than you hoped, at least you have some more time to save for a bigger down payment. Lucky for me if it does come out when they say it does, it will be out a few months before Im ready to give my down payment. I think the toy company is trying to boost sales.
