Sucks you just can't buy the boot. What are you guys all doing with the shift knobs. The auto stays on so the one you get with the leather boot. Also any one lead me in right direction for the shifter knob with the paddle shift buttons built in?

I am the manufacturer of the tapshifters, you can find them in the link below.

I also sometimes have the leather boots in stock, I buy them when I need manual knobs to install the linelock/nitrous buttons and often the buyer doesn't need a new boot.

So that's where it's coming from.

Specifically, it's the plastic gap cover that slides forward and back with the shifter.

Here it is on a 2LT/RS 2013.

It was very easy to install. Also the 2013 boot comes without the Knob!

Wrap looks good would look a little nicer if it went all the way up but I know why it doesn't (PITA) lol. But your radio looks awesome I'm jealous my 10 2SS doesn't have one of those radios

Did you zip tie boot to shifter knob? Or actual shifter in car.

I got the one from feslers...with it I ground off th alignment peg so I could slide the plate front to back and cover the gap. Key holing the manual lot mounting points with a Dremel would do the same I think.

Yes... the boot is ziptied to the knob. The knob slides over the sift knob.

This actually looks pretty sweet. Leather always takes it over plastic.

Yes, I zip tie the boot. For the 2013, you have to get the plastic knob holder out to fit your stock auto knob.

Yeah, i know. I actually messured it wrong. I did not think it was going to show that much. Once again, it will be fixed in the near future. The same time when I get the gap fixed.

Thanks

if i bought the manual center console with the gauges would that eliminate the gap? I dont have the 4guage -pack yet. Would the manual center console fit in the automatic without the prndm plate?
