The Windshield

About a month after I got the car I was heading to Walkins Glen race track to do some pace laps with the Upstate C5 crew. Heading up the hill to the track our right feet got the better of us and my buddy who was in front of me kicked up a stone. Of course it hit my windshield and chipped it. I called my insurance company the next day to get it replaced. I had glass coverage with a zero deductible but when I told them I wanted OEM glass they informed me I didn't have "OEM Replacement Coverage". I have never heard of this before and I wasn't happy with my insurance company for not telling me about it. I had to make a deal to pay the difference between the aftermarket glass and the OEM one (90 bucks) but it all worked out. I do have OEM coverage now...

Who ever heard of OEM windshield coverage being extra? I always thought that's what they replace it with, OEM!

Love the Red Hurst knob mod! very cool!

I know right! As soon as the insurance agent told me that I was thinking to myself "you have got to be f*^king kidding me!" I do love the new shifter, it's like a fine bold action rifle now.

ZL1 Floor Mats

I got these shortly after getting my car. They are way better than the stock floor mats and should come with the car if you ask me. I feel bad for anyone who spent the extra cash for the premium floor mats that were an option when ordering.

No extenders needed Brian. The o2 sensor bungs were in the same location as the factory ones. I've picked up a few boxes here and there.

The Fuse Box Cover

I ordered another fuse box cover last week, it was a whole 4 dollars (the shipping was more ). Thought I'd bust out some painting skills and see how it comes out. I wet sanded it, sprayed a coat of paint adhesive, two coats of primer, four coats of victory red paint and two coats of clear, I used dupont paint.
