Question Door Sills Peeling?

Anyone's door sills peeling? Both of mine are... and the dealer said that the guy before me had the same problem. Anyone else having this problem? And i thought the sills would be like plastic or metal.. not a sticker.

Mine are up a little at the edges. Haven't asked the dealer about it yet though.

I noticed this on my 2SS also last week when I inspected it. I just pressed them down and moved on....

So it is held on by the same 3M double sided tape the front and rear bumper grafix are using? Or is it just glue?

factory on 1ss and 2ss. The others don't get them unless you buy them at the dealership

They do not use tape on the back of them. I just put some on my 2LT/RS this weekend and the back is a very tackey adhesive. Pretty much the entire sill backing was coated.

Maybe they should start using Velcro in place of tape.....

If its being held on by a tacky substance and with the heating up of our weather here in the US maybe they are getting sticky soft because of the heat ?

I know in Texas we have Toll tags and we velcro them to our windshield in the summer the velcro gets soft and falls off the window.

just a thought....im noticing yall up north are getting pretty Warm now compared to previous years.

its 100 here today with 98% humidity another day in Texas

No sh*t. An aesthetic problem with no pictures. Even a POS cell phone picture would be nice.

Yep mine are rippled also. I just found this thread. I will get some pics and post. I tried pushing down, they just come back up. It looks like it will definately be a very common issue. when they were put on they arent pressing the edges down then when they are detailed at the dealership water gets under them and they are no longer worth a damn. Im going to get my dealer to order me 2 new ones, do a good alcohol wipe and make sure I press it down this time. You guys building these should run your finger around the outside edge of these and poof (problem solved)
