O man it was interesting lol. Swam with a dolphin, rode a horse. While horseback riding my friend got kicked in the leg by my horse and broke their tibia. And of course this happened in Jamaica so we had to go to a doctor's office so they could get 4 stitches and a cast. Luckily everything was free the antibiotics, x-ray everything lol but man that put a damper in the vaca. The only positive thing was this was towards the end of the trip so we didn't miss any other islands but man the last two days were horrible. Another good thing is we got refunded for horseback riding but it is safe to say I won't be going on a horse ever again. Yet despite this I still had a good time and it was really nice getting away from school, work and winter.

Guess a quick update since it has been awhile... Yesterday I dropped off my intake manifold and my billet pedals to get powdercoated. The intake manifold is going to be powdercoated chrome and the pedals will be orange (to match my interior better than that red)..Can't wait to get them back and see how the intake manifold came out!!!! Depding on how it looks I may paint some parts of it black for a little contrast but we will see how it comes out first . Once the IM is done I can finally clear off my kitchen table with all the various parts that go on my intake manifold lol (tb, black iceolator, plenum cover and my new plenum spacer)

Haha that's funny...I don't care that my kitchen table is covered in car parts cause I never used it anyways usually just ate at my desk or at the coffee table in front of my tv.

Well just got back from the powdercoater today, only took a day and a half to powdercoat my intake manifold, was shocked thought it would take longer. I also had him do my billet pedals that use to be red but are now orange!

The intake manifold came out more of like a polished look instead of a pure chrome but I am happy none the less, it looks WAY better than how it use to. Here are a before and after pic

Before

(you can see my failed attempt at polishing it myself, also ignore the black sharpie marks lol)

And After

Now I may or may not add some black to the intake manifold but I am not sure yet, will have to see how everything looks once I put it back together.

Here are a before and after of the pedals
Before

After

The pictures of the powdercoating job don't do it justice at all.

I prefer the look of highly polished over chrome! That IM looks fantastic! Can't wait to see it installed! Nice job on the pedals too!

Thanks! I'm debating if I wanna hit some parts of it with black paint, just don't wanna ruin it lol. Maybe I'll leave it alone till next winter. All credit goes to Powderworth in Marathon NY! Def worth the hr drive down. Now just gotta figure out what I am gonna do exactly with the plenum cover, maybe IOM maybe black?

Little update for anyone who actually follows this lol:

I went to Lowe's today to buy new bolts for the plenum cover and my throttle body. I was able to get new plenum cover bolts but they did not have anything close to the throttle body bolts that I was looking for (want them in black). However I was able to buy new throttle body bolts from Summit Racing, the only downside is they are on back order. So I will have to patiently wait. Here is a pic of the plenum cover bolts I bought, they are the black ones on the right:

Now for anyone who may want to replace the plenum cover bolts like I did the size of them is: M6-1.00 x 25. Also the throttle body bolts are basically the same too, they are M6-1.00 x 60.

So other than just going out and buying new bolts I also started to reassemble my intake manifold and stuff. I reinstalled my Black Ice-olator and installed the new plenum spacer (which is why I am even making this post, new bolts aren't that impressive lol) I was really hoping to reinstall my throttle body but I want to wait until I get those bolts. So here are a couple of pics of the plenum spacer installed.

By the way, RTV is really messy haha
