You'll make good power with those mods but be careful of putting to much faith in a dyno done at 270 ft altitude in Waterbury compared to 3600 ft in Calgary. I'm giving up about 76 hp comparatively.

Here's a tool, it assumes a lot but gives a reasonable result. Elevation is the shits for us inlanders...haha. Would really suck to live in Denver.

hp loss = elevation x 0.03 x hp @ sea level
1000

Getting whippled!

Well it will only e in fort Mac for this summer then be back on Vancouver island for good come August.
That equation doesn't work...
Google it and found it. It's then divided by 1000. I'm only at 1200ft in fort Mac so if I used 650 as hp at sea level if lose 23 hp

Is there a track on the island or would Mission be the closest. I'd really like to get to Mission, pretty sure I could run a 9.xx out there.

You'll love the supercharger if you've never had one before, they make crazy power in these cars. The first time you get on the throttle is unreal.

Sure it does. Ft. Mac is only 1200 ft, not near as bad

1200-270 = 930

(930 X 0.03 X 650)/1000 = 18.1hp

I did time in Ft. Mac about 28 years ago. There was two or three busses a day going to Syncrude and the town as I recall was about 4000 people. Used to drink in a pub called the Oil can, sat with your back to the wall. I worked AOSTRA and for Petro Canada back then. It's now been 38 years in the industry and I've got about 5 left in me but I agree the oil patch has payed for and continues to pay for many mods...lol.

oil can was recently shut down, and the city is tearing it down soon. they say there's around 80000 permanent and about 120,000 including commuters. but unfortunately the biggest drawback is the infrastructure is set up for about 40,000 people. im trying to get all my expensive mods done now and paid for before i move to BC permanently.

heres another photo of some work i did today getting it ready for the supercharger also bought a little drill driven transfer pump i used to suck the tank out, seeing as i dropped it half full of fuel. just put it in a Jerry can to make it easier to reinstall.

Nice! My parents are retired and live in Comox on Vancouver Island. Once I get the car I want to head out there with it and take the drive to Tofino again. That road is AWESOME twisties. Even the highway from Vancouver to Whistler would be sick to drive in the Camaro.

well i am sitting here at home very Impatiently waiting for my packages to arrive. fedex says it was in edmonton yesterday morning and to arrive today. i wish i could be out in the garage right now, cuz i want to take my dash out now, but gotta wait for my parts. i have to about 430 today to work on it, then 8-230 tomorrow so im sure ill have her almost wrapped up by the end of tomorrow. Depending on when they show today. better not be 4pm haha, id be PISSED. but hey cant be too pissed waiting for a supercharger. ive had a turbo audi for like a month, a twin turbo 3000gt for 3 months (2.5 years but only ran 3 months) but never a supercharged car. or even a car with an aggressive cam for that matter. so im pretty pumped. also ordered some new wheels yesterday. 20x9.5 and 20x11 Forgestar F14s with 275/315 Nitto NT05's so that should help me hook up.

Well the box with the blower showed, but none of the others yet. The delivery guy said this is all he had for me today which is very weird... I'd upload a photo but it won't work.
